I spent all day Saturday doing
yard work. I got the lawn mowed, weeds pulled, and my weed-eating done.... the
weed eating was the worst!!!! I don't have a weed-eater and I am very impatient. I didn't want to wait to borrow my mom's weed-eater so I got out my scissors... yes, you heard right. I went around my whole yard with a pair of scissors cutting the edges down.
It looks tons better now!!
I love the look of the yard when it is freshly mowed. Notice the cement
burm looks so nice, no tall grass blocking our view of the road.
This is the backyard where the grass meets the weeds, Trey wanted to help me so I handed over the scissors, seems how at this point I had blisters on my hands.
I love my yard... (notice my crazy neighbor in the background, she was blow-torching her weeds).

So I totally dont have a weed eater either so I know what you mean by taking out the scissors to cut the tall grass. Hey what ever works RIGHT?? Your yard looks really good. I love driving by and seeing you guys live there. We really do need to get together for a bbque. That would be fun....
