Buffalo and Leamerado Days

Last Saturday I decided to take the boys to Evanston and meet Bold up there to watch his rodeo. Well, apparently I missed the exit I wanted to get off of so we kept driving to hit the next one, when I got off the freeway it was either turn left and go the the rodeo or go right and see some buffalo. Trey of course was diggin' seein' the buffalo so we stopped and got a few pictures. At the rodeo they had the mutton bustin' which Trey just loves, but I guess in order to ride a sheep you have to sign up six months in advance (Yes, I think before even Bold has to sign up). Trey really, really wanted to ride so Bold asked the guy if there was a sheep left over if Trey could ride it. Well, Trey got to ride a sheep, he rode it WAY farther than any of the other kids that were signed up but they wouldn't score him or anything but it was fun anyway.
*Leamerado Days: On Labor Day the big town of Leamington always has their little rodeo. Well this year Bold decided that he and I were going to do the hide race together, of course he didn't bother telling me this until about 10 minutes before the rodeo started, luckily I scrounged up some gloves and a hoodie. Keep in mind that I have never done this before, Bold came whipping around the barrel, and obviously he was not going to slow down so I bore down and jumped on....... well some BIG crazy bruises, rope burn, and being drug at 10 MHP later..... we won $60.00!!!!! Holy Moly.... for a little pain and some war wounds I think I will do it again for that kind of $$$$. I do have to admit it was pretty fun.
