Monster Truck Finals 2012

Over the weekend we took the boys to the Monster Truck World Finals in Las Vegas. It was a long car ride for the boys but we managed. We went down an extra day this year because Trey had parent teacher conference on Thursday, so we headed out after his appointment. We got to vegas about 6. We stayed at the South Point the first night, since Bold gets a discount for being a PRCA member... (hey anything helps).... We got up Friday, got the boys' boots shined, took a couple trips down the strip then headed over to the other hotel where we met up with our friends from Mona. We stayed at Arizona Charlie's on Boulder Highway the next two nights. We got to the hotel about 3:30 and the kids and I went swimming till dark. My two boys are homesick little fishes :) They LOVE to swim and sit in the hot bath ( hot tub) as my boys like to call it. I love to see them having fun.... They would have stayed in the pool all night if they could. Saturday we got up and went over to the arena to walk through all the monster trucks and get autographs!!! We bought the boys a couple souvenir shirts to get signed and I bought a hat as well, we were kinda early and the kids got tired so we went to the car and hung out for about an hour before we went in to watch the monster trucks!! As you can see I don't have any pictures, I got my camera out to take some and my battery was dead. (Why do I not bother to check these things before we leave??!!). We had a blast, got a little sun burned, and loved the little vacation!!! I would highly recommend going to the Monster Truck Finals if you have little boys and ever get the chance, my boys talk about it for weeks!!! We had a blast and can't wait for next year!!
