We spent Memorial Weekend camping and fishing at Caussey Dam. It's up Ogden Canyon. As you can see from the pictures it rained the WHOLE time we were there ( mostly because Bold and I took 5 days off of work). We headed out Friday morning with the boat. We fished off the boat Friday night and Saturday morning. Then Bold wanted to go to Peoa for the bucking horse futurity Saturday afternoon, of which it rained the WHOLE entire time. Sunday we packed up and headed home. Not without stopping at the air show first though.
It was actually kinda nice, it was sprinkling so it wasn't hot, and the rain also kept a lot of people away so it wasn't crowded....
There were tons of airplanes to look at, and the bigger ones, we were able to walk through them.
There were also ongoing air shows you could watch. That was really awesome, watching the fighter jets do tricks in the air.
There was a display with these mini fighter jets :) How cool is that!!!
The boys and I thought it was super cool, and best of all it was FREE :) After the airshow we came home via Tooele and stopped at Vernon Res. to fish some more :) We finally made it home: soaking wet, but Trey and I caught two fish at Vernon so it wasn't a total bummer trip, and it was fun to be with Bold and my boys :)
